Coming to the lead actor Suriya, we do not require words to establish his versatility as an actor. His list of films and their successes will do the talking. This time it will be double treat for Suriya's fans since the actor plays dual roles after 'Maatran' that released in 2012. It is certain that the actor plays Mumbai underworld don 'Raju Bhai' while the makers have preferred to keep the other role as a secret. 

Samantha the young and energetic actress has paired up with Suriya for the first time. Its every heroine's dream to act with Suriya and Samantha has claimed that she is the actor's fan right from 'Kakha Kakha' days. So it's a case of a fan getting to act with her favourite star. Suriya has always shared a good chemistry with all of his heroines and the stills that have released so far prove that Samantha will be no exception to this rule. Given Lingusamy's ability to include cute interludes of romance in action flicks, we can expect some breezy romance as a respite from action sequences. 

Action films do not get fulfilled without antagonists. This film has a powerful actor Manoj Bajpai playing the lead villain role. There are many other Mumbai based actors including Dhilip Tahil playing negative roles in the film. Vidyut Jamwal who played the villain of Ajith in 'Billa II' and Vijay in 'Thuppakki' is acting with Suriya this time. However his role in 'Anjaan' is kept as a secret and we have to wait and watch to know whether he is the friend or foe of Suriyaa in the film.

                          SURYA ( Saravanan Sivakumar)

Saravanan "Surya" Sivakumar is popularly known as Surya, is an Indian actor in the Tamil film industry. He is well-known for his versatile roles in various films. Surya's father is the renowned veteran Tamil actor Sivakumar. He is the eldest of three children - younger brother being the award-winning actor Karthik Sivakumar, and a younger sister named Brindha, who is married to an industrialist named Sivakumar.

                                                       

    In 2005, Surya delivered more successful films in the form of Aaru and Ghajini - afterwards he set up a production company called Studio Green along with his cousin K.E.Gnavelraja. Ghajini was one of the most sensational hits of 2005, with Surya playing a short term memory loss patient, for which he even tonsured his head. The film was his third blockbuster and grossed over Rs.200 million at the box office. By then, trade began comparing him with long established actors like, Vikram next to Vijay and Ajith.

In 2008, he appeared in Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gautham Menon. He won several awards. Surya played dual roles, of a son and a father, ranging from 17 to 75 years. His next film Ayan in 2009 was directed by K. V. Anand, which went on become the highest grosser of that year in Tamil Nadu. He played the role of a smuggler. His next release was Aadhavan directed by K. S. Ravikumar. 2010, he had his 25th release with Singam, directed by Hari, in which he played the role of a police officer.
